SWISSTRAFFIC uses BlueScan as an effective and economical measuring instrument for analysing road traffic. From pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles to cars and trucks.
Up to 70% of all vehicles can be traced using Bluetooth.
BlueScan measures travelling and delay times, recognises traffic jams and locates stationary vehicles. In addition, BlueScan provides real-time information on the traffic situation, to allow a fast and accurate response if necessary.
BlueScan is therefore also regularly used for optimising the design of infrastructure.
