Motorised individual traffic
Mass motorisation, which started in the 20th Century, is both a curse and a blessing for our society. Catchwords such as personal freedom and individual mobility, transportation as the basis of our economic activity on one side and a negative impact on the environment, noise, air pollution, climate change and road casualties on the other side show clearly the ambivalence regarding motorised individual transport.
As designers and planners, we are committed to reduce negative effects early in the conceptual phase through comprehensive reflections, but also by providing suitable structures to the growing mobility needs of our society and economy.
